Ms. Helena Chang
I am applying for the Data Engineer position at Google. I am writing to apply my knowledge and applicable skills gained through both university study and industry-related work experience to this role.
After graduating with a Master’s degree in Data Engineering, I moved to Company A, where I worked as a Data Engineer for 2 years. My enthusiasm to work at Google has been fostered by your reputation of working creatively to provide clients with excellent advertising and technology solutions. I am keen to apply my knowledge and skills gained in my Master’s studies as well as through my previous work experience to this Data Engineering role.
I have proven a strong customer focus with the ability to communicate and deal with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. I have had to handle many challenging customer inquiries and have learned to resolve them in a professional and timely manner. This has also developed my ability to explain data concepts to people who do not have a technical background.
My passion for this field and desire to understand data and people’s complex relationships have led me to develop a strong interest in providing incredible service to clients across many diverse customer demographics. I have in-depth experience doing so.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to discussing this position further.

Sincerely,
Charles Bloomberg
